TRA’s new Efiling System

Today, TRA unveiled the new Efiling System that they have been working on for some time.

The new system can be accessed by visiting https://ots.tra.go.tz:8090/

Currently, tax returns for the following class of taxes will be required to be filed via this new system:

  1. PAYE
  2. SDL
  3. Personal Income Tax
  4. Corporate Tax

The system is also designed to allow the taxpayer to:

  1. View filed returns
  2. View assessments
  3. Apply for extension of time to file tax returns
  4. Appoint Audit firm
  5. Certification of income tax returns
